I hate finding out tragic news on twitter, I hate getting a feeling of wow wtf, nooo really wtf. Today I heard some sad news about Keith Elam (Guru), it was about him suffering from a heart attack and then falling into a coma. Right then, I felt like man wtf thinking about his legacy and contributions to hip hop. I was wilding for a minute to myself, but now seeing [R.I.P Guru] run across my twitter timeline, it caught me in that same state of wtf just like on June 25th. I’m at a point where I understand life’s meaning and knowing that I want to express how we as a brand feel about celebrated and respecting people while they are still with us. We shouldn’t wait until someone leaves us to make dope tees, make fly mixtapes, and start digging for what they left behind. We always should honor and respect them in physical.
Update: @DJPremierBlog Guru still in surgery, keep on praying people, he will make it.
YESSS!! lets use this post for positive prayer. It’s a shame how people use things like twitter and other social media sites to start rumors. I am so happy to hear that he is still with us. THANK YOU! Sorry if our post confused anyone. Please use the power of positive energy and hope as GURU pulls through this.
